Penang Waterfall Temple

Second famous Thaipusam spot in Malaysia with an expected crowd of more than 80,000 people and 10,000 tourists.
Newly renovated temple should be another attraction for this year and expected more crowed compare to last year.

Thaipusam here will give you another unique experience. A day before Thaipusam called as ‘Chetty Pusam’ and numbers of devotees will come here to pay their tributes. Followed by an actual Thaipusam celebration.
In Penang, A lot of private companies, colleges, government organizations and individuals will set up booths along at Tanjung Bungah Road, offering foods and drinks for the devotees. Heavy and loud music will be played by some of the booths there.

Coconuts breaking is another unique ceremony here. Don’t be surprised when tons of coconuts been smash break on the roads and “small caterpillars” is cleaning the area.

I will strongly advise to use public transport to reach here.
For those who like to drive their own car,   THEY  ARE  REQUIRED  TO  PARK  CAR  FEW  KILOMETRES AWAY  AND  THERE  ARE  PARKING CHARGERS.
