Thaipusam is one of the important Hindu religious festival which will be fall on the full moon of the Tamil month of 'the'. This year, Thaipusam will be celebrated on 9th January 2017 (Thursday). 

It's celebrate to pay grace to the Lord Muruga. In Malaysia, Thaipusam celebrated very grandly at Batu Cave Temple, Penang Waterfall Temple and Ipoh Batu  Malai Temple. This is most popular location in Malaysia with the highest rate of numbers of devotees who will attend for the celebration.

For this year, Thaipusam fall on 9th February 2017 (Thursday). For every year, the day of Thaipusam celebrated with Public Holiday in Penang, Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Selangor. For the first time Kedah announced State holiday for Thaipusam Festival.
